What is Profhilo?

It not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but it also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The stimulation results in significant tightening and lifting of the improved skin tissue.
There are no real restrictions as Profhilo injectable treatments can be used to prevent signs of crepey or ageing skin and to intensely hydrate the skin. However, it is most commonly used in the Clinic to correct signs of ageing most frequently on the face, neck, chest and hands.

What makes Profhilo so unique?
Profhilo® is a unique skin remodelling treatment that works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skin through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Unlike other anti-ageing injectables that use fillers to add volume and stretch out the skin, Profhilo uses Hyaluronic Acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body to hydrate, firm and actually rebuild new, younger-looking skin cells.
This works on reversing the signs of ageing at a cellular level, stimulating new collagen and elastin cells, significantly improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and giving you firmer, more youthful skin on your face. With dermal fillers, the results tend to be very localised because the gel only stays in the area in which it has been injected. However Hyaluronic Acid is different. WHO IS SUITABLE FOR PROFHILO?
Generally, anybody from the age of 30 and up is suitable. It is also beneficial for those individuals who have started to notice the first signs of skin laxity, or have visible signs of ageing skin.
HOW LONG CAN PROFHILO LAST?
Generally, it can lasts 4-6 months if 2 treatments are given one month apart. After the initial treatments, we recommend coming back to see us every 6-9 months. Then only one syringe is needed, as we will be simply topping up the skin's hydration and glow.
CAN I USE PROFHILO WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
Absolutely, you can combine Profhilo with Injectables, Fillers, Ultherapy or HIFU for more visible results.
