Radiesse & Ellanse

Collagen biostimulators are getting more popular in today’s aesthetic advancement. Mainly because of its ability to provide natural results and flexibility. Radiesse and Ellanse are 2 of the most used collagens biostimulators today.

Radiesse is a collagen biostimulator made from synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), in glycerin, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, lidocaine and sterile water. It particle size is 25 to 45 microns. Radiesse is injected subdermal for correction of facial wrinkles, folds and also soft tissue augmentation.

Ellanse is made from polycaprolactone (PCL) and carboxymethylcellulose. It particle size is 25 to 50 microns. Ellanse gives an immediate filling effect followed by stimulation of the body’s own collagen (neocollagenesis).

Both Radiesse and Ellanse are good products. Radiesse gives a good filling on the volume loss and Ellanse can last longer up to 2-3 years. Both can be a good alternative to dermal fillers.
